NVC offers a unique approach to transforming anger into life-enriching actions. Using anger as a wake-up call, not being used by anger. To be able to welcome our own anger will help us stay centered when listening to other people’s anger, and thereby increasing our chance of communicating in a way that leads to understanding and connection. Understanding the life-enriching purpose of anger, will support us in contributing to people with anger and serve as a mediator in conflicts. In therapeutic work this approach can bring you a “Fast forward” in supporting your client transform and heal from anger, without suppressing any of the core life in anger.
Guilt and shame often play a more hidden role in our inner life. Guilt being centered around thinking like: “I did wrong”. Shame being centered around thinking like: “I am wrong”. We can benefit from getting to know the places in us where we shrink in feelings of guilt and shame, in order to support our inner growth to manifest our true nature with all the freedom, trust and acceptance that we long for. Liberating ourselves from guilt and shame and other life-alienating programs can be the greatest gift to our own being.
The process includes a careful listening, “leaning into the feelings” and staying in the dark place inside until we start seeing more clearly our true compassionate heart.
The 2 days will include input, practice and opportunity to work on your own cases. As well as playful presence to the deepest place in our hearts that we know of, and where we want to live from.
